From the founder of Aikido, a few words of wisdom:
Your spirit is the true shield.
One does not need buildings, money, power or status to practice the Art of Peace. Heaven is right where you are standing and this is the place to train.
When an opponent comes forward, move in and greet him; if he wants to pull back, send him on his way.
Create each day anew.
All the principles of heaven and earth are living inside you. Life itself is truth, and this will never change. Everything in heaven and earth breathes. Breath is the thread that ties creation together.
There is a Universe between us that does not exist.
Doing Graffiti it’s not what you see, that is something behind and you can reach that by being there to take the pulse, at least once in your life! It’s how you manifest your power of Creation no matter how many obstacles or fears you have and yet remain silent and follow the Path. This living art is how you express yourself, where others are not even there to understand or to see. It’s a gift that comes out sometimes without a reason or meaning, but takes a risk… and that’s the beauty of it!
There are smiles everywhere
This is a small collection of images found around the place I live. Since there are human made, even that the first intention was not to be art like creations, I noticed some individualities and shared them with you.
Happy to present you Wood Faces, a collection that will grow along time.
With love, Laila
Sticker art (also known as sticker bombing, sticker slapping, slap tagging, and sticker tagging) is a form of street art in which an image or message is publicly displayed using stickers.
These stickers may promote a political agenda, comment on a policy or issue, or comprise a subcategory of Graffiti.
Sticker artists use a variety of label types, including inexpensively purchased and free stickers, such as the United States Postal Service’s Label 228 or name tags. Label 228’s are often used with hand-drawn art, and are quite hard to remove, leaving a white, sticky residue.
